For fall 2019, Study Week begins at 5:00 pm on December 6, 2019 and concludes after the last day of scheduled final exams. The policy will apply to non-classroom related events at Fredonia. All classroom related activities will be approved by the appropriate Academic Dean.
- For consideration during designated review period no later than two weeks prior to the start of study week (last full week of November and April.) Please send requests to the Department of Student Engagement & Inclusion, using our online form: https://fredonia.presence.io/form/study-week-event-form
- Events cannot last more than ONE hour from approved start time.
- Event must begin before 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday of Study Week and 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday of Study Week.
- Study groups or other events related to preparing for exams may be considered for longer timeslots; but will still be required to begin before the aforementioned times.
All organizations wishing to hold an event during “Study Week” are required to complete the Study Week Event Form on the Blue News website. Once an event is approved, please make sure to secure the event location with Campus Life, located in the Williams Center, (716) 673-3143. A list of approved events will be posted on the Blue News Event Calendar.
