The Blizzard Warning has been cancelled.
A Lake Effect Snow Warning remains in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday.
Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches possible in the most persistent lake snows. The most widespread and heaviest lake snows will occur later this afternoon into tonight. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph this morning near the Lake Erie shoreline will result in areas of blowing and drifting snow. Travel could be difficult. Areas of blowing and drifting snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes.
