New Term Break Charter Bus Prices Announced

Thanks to the cooperation of multiple offices across campus, the Campus Ticket Office is pleased to announce the LOWERING OF THE PRICE FOR DOWNSTATE term break charter bus service for Thanksgiving and Christmas 2022 and Spring Break 2023. An allocation of funds from the student transportation fee will be used to offset the dramatic price increases that the charter bus companies are charging us. As a result of this subsidy, we are able to roll back prices to what was charged in fall of 2021.
NEW TERM BREAK CHARTER BUS TICKET PRICES (Fall, 2022)
- Middletown: $80 one-way; $160 roundtrip
- Tarrytown: $85 one-way; $170 roundtrip
- Midtown NYC (Bryant Park): $90 one-way; $180 roundtrip
- Huntington, Long Island: $95 one-way; $190 roundtrip
Students who have already purchased one way or round-trip tickets for Thanksgiving break should visit the Campus Ticket Office between 9 and 3 weekdays to have new tickets issued. The deadline for doing so is Friday, November 4. These students will be given a credit that can be applied to the Christmas Term Break bus. (If not planning to use the Christmas Break service, please contact the ticket office to discuss other options.)
The Thanksgiving Break charter buses depart campus promptly at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 18, and return at approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 27. There is still room left; seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For major breaks, (Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring) The Campus Ticket Office also offers shuttle service to the Buffalo Airport and Depew Amtrak station, as well as regional service on Coach USA to the downtown Buffalo bus terminal, with connecting service to the Greyhound bus system.
