NY-Alert Campus Test Thursday at 12:25 p.m.

Date Posted:

As part of Fredonia's commitment to ensuring a safe campus environment, we test the NY-Alert mass notification system near the start of each semester. NY-Alert can send text, email, and recorded voice messages to multiple email addresses and phone numbers simultaneously. It is one of several tools used to send emergency information to the entire campus quickly.

We will conduct the annual campus test of the NY-Alert system this Thursday, Sept 10, at 12:25 p.m. At that time, you will receive a test message from the NY-Alert system on the devices you signed up to receive them. Make sure you're signed up to receive alerts. For instructions, go to www.fredonia.edu/nyalert

IMPORTANT: If you have signed up to receive phone calls, you are strongly encouraged to save (716) 680-6067 in your phone as a contact, so that a call from our system will not come up as "unknown" or "spam risk," etc.
