NY-Alert Test This Wednesday

As part of Fredonia's commitment to ensuring a safe campus environment, we test the NY-Alert mass notification system near the start of each semester. The next test will take place Wednesday, August 23, at approximately 12:50 p.m.
At that time, you will receive a test message from the NY-Alert system to the devices you signed up to receive them. NY-Alert can send text, email, and recorded voice messages to multiple addresses and phone numbers simultaneously. It is one of several notification tools used to send emergency information to the entire campus quickly. If you have not done so yet, we encourage you to sign up for NY-Alert.
We will send an email Wednesday morning before the test as a reminder.
