Reed Library is physically closed, but we continue to provide services virtually.
Reference assistance is available 24/7 from the "Chat live or text a librarian 24/7" service, accessible from Reed Library's homepage. Reed librarians will staff this service Monday-Friday, 1:00-4:00 pm through July 31. Fredonia students, faculty, and staff can also make an Individual Research Appointment with a Reed librarian. Questions are welcome via email at email@example.com.
Borrowing materials from Reed Library's collection can still be done. Complete this form and arrangements will be made for pick-up or mailing.
Interlibrary Loan for physical materials (books, scores, DVDs, CDs) remains halted throughout the country, but Fredonia students, faculty, and staff can request articles and book chapters.
Return items to either of the three library book drop boxes on campus or mail to Reed Library (see this FAQ for locations and mailing address).
All materials from Reed Library have been automatically renewed until August 31.
For Interlibrary Loan materials, no overdue fines from loaning libraries are being generated at this time. Due dates are uncertain as many libraries are still closed. Please hold-on to items until contacted by Reed's Interlibrary Loan staff with a return date. You can also proactively return items via mail or campus book drop boxes in the meantime.
