Scheduled shutdown of power to campus Saturday

There will be a scheduled shutdown of power to the campus on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11:00 p.m. thru Sunday, March 31, 2024 5:00 a.m.
This power outage is necessary to allow contractors to inspect and repair the high voltage equipment at the outdoor Electrical Sub Station near the thruway.
The outage will not affect services such as e-mail, website access and other services maintained centrally in the Maytum Hall Computing Center. All on-campus PC and Macintosh users are advised to turn off their machines prior to the shutdown.
The outage does not affect the Campus and Community Children’s Center, the Incubator or the houses along Central Avenue.
Emergency generators will provide safety lights in hallways and stairwells within all buildings on campus.
