Student Research and Creativity Expo: Call for Proposals

Students are invited to submit proposals to participate in the 25th Annual Fredonia Student Research and Creativity Exposition. The Expo will be held in the Williams Center on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Undergraduate and graduate students in all academic disciplines are encouraged to present their work. Students are welcome to submit individual or group proposals for: oral presentation, poster presentation, or multimedia presentation of scholarly and creative work. Proposals for a live musical or theatrical performance can also be submitted. Projects may be related to direct course work or independent study projects. Senior capstone projects or theses are especially welcome. Works in progress may also be submitted as long as it will be completed by the time of the Expo.  All students must identify a faculty mentor for their project.

New this year is OSCAR@Reed: Reed Library is offering assistance in using best practices when creating poster and multimedia presentations for OSCAR. Students are encouraged to schedule individual and/or group research appointments with a librarian.  Faculty may also schedule a class session (in-person or embedded) for a similar purpose.  More information about Reed Library’s support services for OSCAR are available at https://fredonia.libguides.com/oscar.
