The SUNY Fredonia Youngerman Center Preschool Program currently has openings for the upcoming school year. If your family, or you know of families who may be interested in preschool opportunities for the upcoming year, we would be grateful if you would share our program information. We are happy to answer questions, provide additional details, or arrange visits for interested families.
Our preschool serves children ages 3–4 in a nurturing, language-rich environment that supports communication, social development, play, and school readiness. The program operates Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. while SUNY Fredonia is in session, making it a strong option for families seeking a part-time preschool experience that can complement related services and other childcare arrangements.
Highlights of the program include:
- Small class sizes (maximum enrollment of 12 children)
- Low student-to-teacher ratios
- An inclusive, language-rich curriculum
- Access to supplemental speech-language therapy services for eligible children at no additional cost
- Affordable tuition
- For the 2026-2027 school year, the annual tuition is $1,950, plus a $100 Registration and Educational Activities Fee. Tuition for our program averages approximately $15 per day, or about $5 per hour for a three-hour preschool session.
Our preschool welcomes a diverse group of learners, including typically developing children and children with emerging developmental, communication, social, or learning needs who can be successful in a general education preschool setting. Through a nurturing, play-based environment, children develop communication, social, academic readiness, and self-help skills while learning alongside their peers. Daily routines, including snack time and personal care activities, provide meaningful opportunities to build independence and confidence.
