University Police Safety Seminar

Date Posted:

Fredonia cares deeply about your safety.  By working together, we can prevent deliberate acts of violence on our campus.

On February 22, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in the Kelly Auditorium of the Science Center, Chief of University Police Brent Isaacson will be hosting a 90-minute "UPD Safety Seminar" where you will learn about our safety measures on campus and be able to ask questions.

In the UPD Safety Seminar, you'll learn:

  • How to prevent targeted violence, like active shooting incidents, by recognizing and reporting concerning behaviors in students or employees.
  • What happens on our campus after you report concerning behaviors.
  • How the safety measures on our campus work together to keep us safe.
  • How University Police are staffed, trained, and operate to keep our campus safe.
  • How to quickly summon an emergency police response on our campus.
  • How to react to emergency campus warnings of a dangerous situation.
  • How SUNY Fredonia is a remarkably safe place.
  • What you can do to make it even safer.

We hope to see you at the UPD Safety Seminar!
